We Are 100% Human.

Done & Done exists for small business owners who want a professional website without the stress or pressure of building it themselves. We like individuality. We like the uniqueness that individual personalities bring to the table. We like playing with words and concepts, and helping your brand become memorable.

When you work with Done & Done, you’re working directly with a real human on Eastern Standard Time who designs, builds, and finishes your website start to finish. We do use some AI-images when applicable, because we think they can be useful and fun, but we do not outsource our work and we do not use AI-generated design or AI-generated copy or content.

Words matter. AI-written content is increasingly failing to resonate with target audiences. It sounds soulless and bland, and people can tell. In a July 2025 article written by Adrian Ott, Chief AI Officer for EY, Switzerland suggests that 40% of Facebook posts are likely AI-generated. We think that's kinda gross. He also says that readers are "increasingly quick to spot AI-generated content at first sight by its predictable patterns and overly polished tone."

Let's be real humans in this increasingly AI-created vivarium of a world, and and while we're at it, let's build you a clean, good-looking website that works, using content that doesn't sound like it came out of a can.

The Hooman Behind Done & Done

You can probably tell we love dogs, but Done & Done is run by a real hooman with a professional background in branding, design, and digital media for small businesses.

I’ve been a professional writer and editor since 2005, with a BA in Literary Criticism and an MFA in Creative Nonfiction. I have years of experience writing and editing web content for companies, organizations, and independent projects.

I’ve watched web copy evolve from early keyword-stuffed pages to today’s more conversational, human-centered approach, and I specialize in writing that feels natural, clear, and engaging without sounding generic or automated.

What I bring to every project is a blend of:

  • Creative, distinctive brand voice

  • Clear communication that respects the reader

  • Writing that keeps people interested without trying too hard

  • Visual and verbal storytelling that works together

Words matter. I care about language, structure, and tone. When the writing and visuals align, a website feels intentional, trustworthy, and memorable, even if it's "just" a small business website.
